St. Louis offers 58 school districts in St. Louis City, Lincoln County, Warren County, Franklin County, Jefferson County, and the St. Charles area representing over 480 schools. Public schools are supported through state and tax dollars. Where a house is geographically locaed determines to which school distict a child is assigned.
To enroll your child for school you will need to bring proof that you live in the district (a lease or sales contract), your child's birth certificate, immunization record, and report card. For information on evaluating elementary and secondary education contact the Missouri Department of Education.
